The Defibrillator UK Foundation is dedicated to protecting and restoring Britain’s iconic red telephone boxes, along with other telephone box types, so they continue to have a meaningful place in our communities.
Our work gives these much-loved kiosks a renewed purpose, preserving their heritage value while adapting them for modern community use. Where suitable, restored telephone boxes may become publicly accessible emergency hubs with defibrillators and first aid equipment, community book exchanges, local information points, heritage displays or other uses that benefit the area.
Our wider aim is to ensure these historic structures are not lost, neglected or removed from the streets they have served for generations.
